This year’s prominent Goodwood Festival of Speed saw CoTA take centre stage in the exclusive F1 Paddock, usually reserved solely for F1 Teams. Here, CoTA offered ticket holders the chance to create their very own special memento to take home. Fans gathered at the CoTA exclusive stand, where they were surrounded by iconic Texan grid girls, they dressed up in cowboy fashion with stetsons and took their winning position on the F1 branded podium, to be captured on camera.
To the fans delight, they were treated to the rare opportunity of having their photo taken with original CoTA trophies won by current World Champion, Lewis Hamilton at the 2014 F1 race and Infiniti Red Bull Racing Sebastian Vettel’s 2013 trophy, who personally leant them to NKrush for the occasion.
During the 4 days at GFoS, the CoTA stand was inundated with famous faces popping by to spread the word about the upcoming F1 Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. Sky Sport commentator, Natalie Pinkham had a chat live on air with Double MotoGP World Champion, Casey Stoner. Mercedes F1 Team were bragging to their 1.11 million twitter followers about their CoTA Grid Girls visit before posting images on instagram to their 16,500 followers. Last but not least, legendry, Brazilian Formula One Racing Driver Felipe Masa, from Williams Martini Racing F1, brought ‘Crofty’ up to speed with his excitement about one of his favourite races on the calendar.
