Why: With the America’s Cup taking place in Bermuda for the very first time, the wealthy island’s sailing opportunities were very weighted in favour of the privileged community. A legacy needed to be created to change this and it was decided to stage a high-profile event to raise valuable funds for the America’s Cup Endeavour programme and create new opportunities for the diverse local community of burgeoning young sailors.
How: NKrush brought together Bermuda’s best suppliers and conceptualised an unforgettable sell out reception, sit down dinner, charity auction and concert at the historic Fort Hamilton. It was attended by the world’s top sailors, America’s Cup sponsors and high-profile international UHNW guests and celebrities.
Result: NKrush created a memorable event that was the showpiece party of the America’s Cup entertainment programme, and widely regarded as one of the best events ever staged on the island. Over $1,000,000 was raised for the America’s Cup Endeavour Programme which ensured that the foundations for a dedicated youth sailing programme were firmly laid for generations to come.
